Provided by YP.comSo helpful and they don’t make me feel dumb for asking questions! It’s intimidating for women sometimes to deal with garages or parts places, these guys are awesome!

Provided by YP.comIf it was possible to give a lower rating than one star, I would provide that rating. This salvage yard has got to be one of the most poorly handled businesses in the industry for the area. I would highly recommend everyone save your well-earned dollar and head over to Crazy Ray's in Mount Airy. For that matter, Ernie's Salvage Yard in Martinsburg which is owned by LKQ (the same owenrs of the Crazy Ray chains). Ernies is a retail junk yard but with the prices Elwoods charges, you might as well pay retail prices. . Elwoods quoted $125.00 per HID headlight --- Crazy Ray's charges $45.65 per HID headlight WITH ballast. Crazy Ray's have set prices advertised on their site and there is no Elwoods "let me see what you have and we can work a deal" which happens to be NO deal whatsoever except the cash the employees urge you to pay, which I'm guessing is lining all the pockets of the employees who happen to be present.

Provided by YP.comCalled to see if they had a part i needed. They said part was already off all I had to do was pick up. Went to get part, wasn't off the car. After I waited for his yard man to come back, as they talked about their bar room escapades with every other word being an f-bomb. They told me they couldn't pull it that day they were to busy, Told me to come back the next day. So I went back the next day, Part still was not pulled. Counter man said we don't pull parts without a deposit. I told him he never asked me for a deposit or I would have given him one. So i asked how much the part would be, He quoted me $25.00 more than I was quoted on the phone. Also said he had told me this same price the day before. He never told me a price or said he needed a deposit because he was to busy talking with his buddies to tell me anything. The whole office was nasty and wreaked of cigarettes. Customer service is terrible. Would never go there again.

Provided by YP.comI've been here before one time and maybe only time it's a huge junk yard so the possibility that they have what you need is good. The problem Is that the guys who "work" there are sitting and talking to the locals and they can tell if you arnt from around there lol. So after they take a small break to acknowledge your presence you can ask them where the car type you are looking for is located and they will huff a little and type it in their ancient computer system then point at one of the walls and say it's that direction! Once again the place is huge! So a hour or two later when you find the Vehicle and remove the needed part then wonder around till you get back to their "office", you go in and they give you outrageous prices! I brought up a few parts and only got a half way "decent" price on about two things. Just out of curiosity I brought up a headlight for a 95' Mercury topaz and 1 for a 85' LTD crown Vic. They offered me both for $65 lol I can buy both brand new for about $28 lmfao. So if you are not familiar with part prices buyer beware! On a 1-5 scale I give them: customer service- 1, Quality- 4, price- 1, Amount of vehicles- 5, Complete overall score- 1.

Provided by YP.comI am not sure what the name of the establishments is, and the confusion doesn’t stop there. Beware of pricing! When you walk in it is hard to tell who works there and who is just here. Pricing varies from person to person and customer service isn’t a part of their vocabulary. If you are a minority or woman, I would not go by myself and I suggest you get the price before you go and pull a part of a vehicle. When you initially ask for a price for a part, their response will be that you have to show it to them. So you go and pull the part - you come back and show it to them and they give you an outrageous price. If you have the time shoot down to Crazy Rays in Frederick.
