While the Smithtown community was apprehensive about a Tattoo Shop on Main Street, Liberty Tattoo Company adds a clean artistic environment that fits right in. My Husband & I have been clients of Dan Lavery's for some years now, and when we heard he opened his own shop we had high expectations, and all of those expectations were fulfilled completely. The tattooers are of upmost quality. Their skill level surpasses those of most shops. Any walk in would feel welcome and should know they are in good hands. The traditional feel of the shop is what I like most, the fact that it is not gimmicky or intimidating is great. You don't feel like you are at a carnival or in a grimy dark place - Liberty Tattoo Company is a large space of clean lines, cool colors and the buzz of tattoo guns sounding in your ears constantly. Cleanliness is not an issue, everything is sterilized and safe.
