Located in Smyrna, Ga., Norton Park Elementary School serves more than 750 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Founded in 1962, the school has more than 70 certified teachers and over 40 classified staff members. It offers a range of extended day, after-school and summer school programs. Norton Park Elementary School s academic curriculum includes fine arts, foreign languages, language arts, mathematics, and health and physical education. The school also operates a school counseling department for students, teachers and parents. It conducts various physical education and speech classes. Norton Park Elementary School offers a range of sports ctivities, including soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading and cross country. The school is a part of the Cobb County School District.
