They could really care less about their customers. They have me the wrong equipment, I used it to cut 3 tiles that destroyed those 3 tiles! When I took pictures and showed them the damage on why I would like a refund. They said instead of a 24 hour charge, they'll charge me for 4 hours.
I asked if they thought it was fair, they provided the wrong equipment -- Yet they want to charge me for it? I ended up paying $30 for nothing.. I cleaned it when I got it because it was SO DIRTY. Even their worker said, "it was so dirty, look at all those webs." maybe I should have took a hint right there.
They needed to charge me all this money because she couldn't hire someone to "clean it" for nothing... Well lady, I CLEANED IT. Your ridiculously dirty machine with holes and leaks that I had to tape up..
Oh also, you wanted me to TAPE the saw to the stand... UM hazard?
So unprofessional, they were nice when they were stealing my money.. But when I wanted to politely ask for a refund because of their mistake.. NOTHING but rudeness and how"bad" we are and how professional they are..
Yeah, 0\10 service! :-) If you want to come to worlds worst service to make YOUR company better.. COME HERE!

Provided by SuperpagesI like to support local businesses but I'll never go here again. Equipment did not work (tried more than one) and they said it was operator error so they would not give another working one or a refund.

Provided by YP.comI usually write positive reviews but this rental place is horrible! We rented something that didn't work and they claimed it did work so they would not give us a refund or even a store credit because we had the equipment more than 24 hours (made the mistake of renting near closing time). We will NEVER use this place again. Prices are extremely high too. We could purchase one for the cost of a 4-day rental!

I returned my equipment 5 minutes later than the 4-hour contract, and they claimed it was "their policy" to then charge me for the entire 24 hours. I thought most business's policies should start with "take care of your customer" but I guess that doesn't apply to Ace Rentals. I've rented from Home Depot before, they usually work with me on the return time.

I rented a BobCat MT-52 - "walk behind" from these folks on a Saturday morning. I'm a home owner and do it yourself kind of guy with min experience. The choice of a walk behind over a riding BobCat was good advise from them, not to get over my head (skills). Even so, I tipped it over (a beginner mistake, bucket too high) within hours they came and picked up the machine, were cautious, but friendly and honest, about what might be needed to fix the machine. Turns out nothing bad happened, but I did have to pay for their mechanic to check it out. I still had to finish the job & they rented to me the next week end. Four hours into it, a 'track came off', a Saturday phone call and they were out there, with a replacement and a half day credit on the rental. These folks deal with a lot of professionals who rent equipment and guys like me who do a weekend project and they will maybe see once every year or two. Let them know which you are, they'll adjust their style, and be helpful.
