We are coming up on 2 years attending this school. My twins started in the Preschool 1 classroom and are now in the Pre-K Stars classroom. If I could I would keep them at Goddard-Snohomish until they graduate!

The school is extremely secure with one main entrance, which is monitored by video camera and accessible only with use of a personal PIN and fingerprint scanner or via buzz in by the Staff, which is viewable by the Administrative office, as well as the Owner. The Director has a small window opening to be able to communicate with any people coming in from the outside. If you are not a family of the school you have to sign in and receive a guest nametag prior to entry. One of the staff will guide you through the school but they NEVER let people just roam. The entrance is not the only location monitored by video camera, as there are multiple cameras throughout the facility including all exits. I feel extremely comfortable leaving my children here knowing that they are in a very safe and secure environment.

The facility is incredibly clean and new. The staff makes sure to thoroughly clean each classroom nightly and it is apparent that they perform a deep clean often. They also keep track of any sicknesses that come through the facility to keep parents on alert. During cold and flu season, they take extra care do deep clean more often to keep germs and colds down to a minimum.

On top of the cleanliness and security, the care and personalized attention that my children receive is outstanding. I can go on for hours about the Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Floaters, they are all very qualified and extremely attentive to the needs of all children. My son had “potty” issues with withholding and the teachers have all been so wonderful encouraging him to go and also allowing him ample time to take the time he needs. I am very appreciative that they made him feel extremely comfortable with such a sensitive issue.

The daily structure of the classrooms is wonderful. The teachers have a schedule and the class sticks to it! The centers and learning activities are very age appropriate with plenty of variety to avoid your child from becoming “bored”. They are always changing things up, introducing new and exciting learning centers and learning “toys”. In addition, if your child is struggling in an area (i.e. recognizing numbers), the teachers will take extra time with 1:1 with your child, to help them learn and become more confident in that area. My son isn’t so fond of writing but the teachers are very good about encouraging him to use the writing center. I’m happy to say, he now writes his name with ease! I appreciate that they pay attention and take note of the areas that need improvement for each and every child so that they are well prepared for Kindergarten. In the beginning of the year the teachers evaluate each child to determine their areas of strength and opportunities so that they can plan appropriate lessons to help enrich all of the children’s skills. They will break the class into small groups of children who are on the same level and work closely with each group to develop their learning to the next level. Everyone gets the teacher’s attention and everyone learns.

I am going to be very sad when we have to say goodbye to our school when we enter Kindergarten. This school and everyone in it feel like family. From that first drop off with mom and kiddos in tears to the moment of Preschool graduation the entire staff and teachers will walk with you every step of the way. My family and I love this school and would recommend it to anyone who wants their child to have the best possible care while they’re away!

Great Place for Kids and parents

What a wonderful place for children to learn and grow. Its a fun place with all kinds of activities and the school gets involved in the community as well which I think is important. My daughter leads me into the school each morning and at the end of the day I get a report that tells me what she did so we can talk about it on the way home. I live in Mill Creek and didn't realize how close it was since it has a Snohomish address.

Amazing!

I would write 10 pages about this place if I had time, but to sum it up it is absolutely a breath of fresh air from the other daycares/schools in the area. The director, assistant director, owner, teachers, everyone are so professional in their appearance and show so much compassion for my son. He's been going there for 5 months now. It's a little higher priced then the other places that mostly all have obese women with a run down appearances, and bad attitudes might I add, but why not pay more for a place where you can go to work all day long not worrying about if your child is getting the proper care that he/she needs. Go into this place and meet the staff, you'll see what I mean. And it's clean!! It's a brand new facility since summer of 2008, so everything is still sparkling. You have to see it to believe it, you'll be hooked!
