If I could give this town 0 stars, I would. Avoid this town at all costs - or it will cost you, $185.63 to be precise. Not speeding? It doesn't matter - Society Hill is very "equal opportunity" when handing out tickets, if you weren't speeding - the "officer" will make up a speed which forces you to pay up or return to the town at a later date to fight the ticket. And don't expect them to hand you a printout from the radar either - they won't.

Notorious speed trap funding the town budget with tickets on out-of-state motorists as they drive the last 20 yards before the open highway and the speed changes to 55 mph -- Corrupt Chief and officers, empowered by the Town Council to make sure the town gets sufficient revenue to operate. Really disgusting that these people are able to occupy ANY government position in today's America.
