The Solon Board of Education is a consultative body of Solon City Schools with responsibilities for making policies in the areas of planning, policy development, financing, public relations and evaluation. Solon City Schools operates several elementary, middle and high schools that provide an academic education to more than 5,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
