I have used roto rooter in the past and didn't realize how pricey they were until now. I recently called them to replace a kitchen faucet and valve and the intial quote came in at $500. When I told the guy that was too much he dropped it to $450. Then went on to drop the price again to $400. I thought this was ridiculous and did not give them the job. What a rip off! (not to mention the guy was a few hours late to the appointment).

Roto-Rooter Plumbers. 18 Sept 2011. Thank God they came out on Sunday. The plumber was very helpful and ensured we understood what the problem was and what our options are. He took the time to address the issue. It was a huge relief when he showed up.

We had a back-up in our sewer line into our home. After calling our regular plumber they immediately referred us to Roto-Rooter. We called about 1 PM on Tuesday and Joe from Roto-Rooter arrived about 4 PM and the office called to provide updates on the arrival time. Joe was very knowledgeable and was able to clear our sewer line as well as scope the line with a camera to determine the problem. He also suggested that the sewer line leaving our home was at steep angle to the first clean-out and we may wish to consider correcting that angle. He gave us a quote for a mechanic to dig and correct the problem. He was very professional and also very conscious of keeping the inside of our home clean. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter.

Had a toilet leak. Gave them a call and within an hour I had a very courteous plumber at home. He looked at the problem and gave me an estimate. Completed the job to my satisfaction and billed me accordingly. Would highly recommend them!

I want to be the first to let people know how fast and helpful roto rooter was for us, there we were to our devistation with our sewer coming up in our home to the rescue roto rooter they came and I can tell you saved the day. I have used them in the past also I would never trust anyone else to my plumbing needs thank God for the internet so I could share this with others.Thnak You Roto Rooter for saving our home from this situation. Early Sunday Morning 9/26 , I called for Emergency Service - my toilet had backed up into my shower . John Winfield responded quickly , arrived shortly thereafter & diagnosed the problem - with great persevearance , unclogged a drain that was not cooperating . Took great care in keeping my home free from the additional mess from bringing in his tools - Cleaning the bathroom area upon completion . Many thanks to Roto-Rooter & John Winfield for a job well done .

I called for emergency help on a Sunday morning (early) with a severely backed up drain (sewage backed up through shower drain in basement-not pleasant). John Winfield responded promptly and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He led us through the process step-by-step, found and fixed the problem, and gave us several good tips for keeping our drain line clean in the future. It sounds strange to say, but John turned an ugly situation into a pleasant outcome. Thanks John and Roto-Rooter.

Very good experience

A ballpoint pen was dropped in the toilet.

I called and they offered to come out within the hour. It wasn't urgent so I scheduled it for 2 days later. They gave me a 2 hour window and showed up on time. The plumber was very nice and courteous. Gave me an estimate. The work was completed for the cost quoted and he did a very nice job cleaning up. He also pointed out a potential future problem and gave me a price to fix.

Good overall experience. Called around 9 at night on sunday and they were here in one hour. Joe was a nice guy and solved the problem. He educated me on what to do and what not to do for the future. He recommended a follow up the next day for the camera to come and snake the drain to see if there was any damage that needed repair. The only reason I would not give the full five-star rating is because I was told that they would arrive on Monday morning between 8-12, and they called to postpone at 11, again at 1:30 and again at 2:30. They finally showed up at 3:30, but my day was shot. I understand things like this happen, unforeseeable events occur. But I am the customer and did take a day off of work to be home. Anyway, the manager came and showed me the video, and again educated me and answered all my questions and made some very honest reccommendations, Would definitely use them in the future, however I hope I would not have to for the cost of 450.00. But overall they solved the problem and am happy.

I had a clogged bathroom sink.

I made an appointment online the day before, and received the confirmation via email for an afternoon appointment.

Service called me the morning of the appointment to offer an earlier time! This was refreshing...as when I picked up the phone I expected to hear they were going to be late. :)

Dave arrived on time, was personable, and completed the job within the estimated time frame. Additionally, the bathroom was left as clean as when he arrived.

I had a drain problem with my dishwasher. I went on line @ 4:00 PM Thursday and requested an appointment for the next morning. The Technician came on time, was helpful and polite. He was able to fix my problem that day (took 3 hours). I have used Roto-Rooter on 2 other occasions and have always been pleased with their service and quality of work.
