Biggest pathological liar and crook, I have ever seen in my life !!!!!!!
Took my $800 fraudulently told me I needed valve guides -- It did not.!!!
Did not put engine together correctly, I told him I was worried about how he took the engine apart without putting it on #1 cylinder and marking chains and gears. Low and behold he puts it together, he says no worries, he builds race cars and this is how he does it ALL THE TIME. After sitting at his shop and getting a run around and unbelievable LIES for THREE MONTHS. Low and behold HE BLEW UP MY ENGINE. Long story short He Lied and Lied about finding an engine - for FIVE MONTHS I Finely got my car back Aug 2013 ELEVEN MONTHS dealing with that Criminally insane NUT CASE. He would just ignore my calls so I had to DRIVE 100 mile round trip to talk to that as s hole about 20 times at $25 just in gas per time. Car is FULL of over caked on OVER SPRAY, A/C does not work / Did not put new exhaust gaskets back in Exhaust now is LOAD and LEAKS / broken tail light lens and hole in rear bumper (probably snow plow) / Lost my only remote for doors and starter / threw all my engine parts in my back set and back storage area greasing upholstery up / I recently paid over $1000 for timing chain replacement on my original engine he destroyed with his INCOMPETENCE. replaced with much lesser engine that SMOKES - I could go on but you get the picture - His son Mike is the same freak show. The St Croix Sheriffs Dept told me about Jims lying false accusations regarding arresting Mike, his son. ----- Thats was just my car -- He also did an engine replacement on my truck - Cant drive it - Oil leaks - Also had it THREE MONTHS (at the same time as the car) ---- He calls me and threatens me after I told him I would settle for $600 (out of an over $3K claim) -

ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES EVER......Bottom line, bad repair work, horrible customer service, or really none, tried blaming me for their bad work. I spoke with the police after picking up the truck, they said they were well aware of Raboins and if they get the chance to go after them they would be. They recommended looking up their criminal record on CCAP, WOW that says it all. A whole page of years of law suits, all the same. Every one in which they lost! Stay far away, and warn your friends.

Beware of this business. He will take your money and not do the work. And he IS a pathological liar. I took my sled in to him because he said he could get an engine and put it in for me. I paid him upfront for said engine and now it has been almost 3 years now and he still doesn't have an engine. I threatened to take him to court if he didn't give me my sled back and my money. I got my sled back about a month ago but he will not give me what is owed. He keeps telling me that some guy in Texas had an engine and to give him 2 weeks. Two weeks is up and he still wont give me my money and he won't answer the phone when I call. Jim is a liar and a thief. AVOID at all costs. There are better more reliable auto repair people in Somerset. You are a jerk Jim Raboin! This business doesn't deserve one star, but I have to rate it.

Have had my vehicle worked on numerous times by Raboin Auto. They do great work very reasonable. They are also very personable and knowledgable about what they do. Thank guys!!

Work was not only not performed, but worsened!! Stay away from this place!!

Be wary of letting them take your vehicle. They will charge you for it in the beginning, then a bunch of unexpected things break, then they charge you again!! I have heard some people never get their vehicle back or get it back in pieces.
