I bought an $18 bottle of wine and corked it as soon as I got home, only to discover that the 2005 Merlot had gone sour and was undrinkable. When I returned it to the store, still full, and requested a replacement, the clerk told me that that was a problem and that he couldn't do that. I left the bottle and told him I would never return.
