This company drilled the first well on this property for my grandfather over 100 years ago. Yes, a hundred years! Since then they've drilled a new well when a huuuuge oak tree fell on the original one and rammed the well head right down into the ground, and again when my mother built a new house and wanted the well moved. Just recently they replaced the pump on that well, a pump which had lasted 10 years longer than expected, mind you. They came the same day I called, finished the job promptly and left no mess behind -- pretty much perfect from a homeowner's perspective.

The workers are great and the office manager, Lisa, is friendly and efficient. If we didn't love these guys, would we still be using them 100 years later? ;) Hmmm. I see their listing says they've only been in business for 85 years. Not sure what the deal is, but I do know that a Larbre drilled my grandfather's first well, and the original house was built around 1910...
