My husband and I are new to the Napa Valley and were very disappointed there are no Indian Restaurants in the area. A friend told us about Taste of the Himalayas. Our experience was outstanding. The Pakoras were the closest I have tasted to my Mother-In-Laws, the lental soup full flavored and rich texture. I had what I know to be Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband Chicken Chili. The sauce in the tikka masala was very good. They add mushrooms which were great. My husbands Chicken Chili was hot, meat tender, and very flavorful. We followed our lunch with Gulab Jamin and tea. It was one of the best meals I have had since moving to the area. I will definitely go back...and back, and back....GREAT JOB TASTE OF HIMALAYAS!
