I recently went to Pinocchio's Italian cafe, the service was horrible. The worst I have ever had. Not once did the wait staff check on me after I received my food. Not even so much as a water top off. To top it all off there was a black hair in my food. I told the owner and I wasn't composited at all, nor was the man preparing my food wearing a hair net. Not even a sorry. I paid full price for a half eaten meal with a hair in it. I have never left a restaurant so pissed off in my life. Beware and dine at your own risk. I can tell you this I will never go back there.

This is a review for the one in Merced, which is new, but same people I understand. Excellent, but menu lacks eggplant parmesan. Instead there is eggplant spagetti. I thought the eggplant could be bigger and more prominent and the spagetti sauce was too dominant. Salad was fresh.. a must. Italian sausage slices appetizer were to die for.. service was excellent. We are upstairs, so nice view of downtown Merced. I will return. We spent $38 for two, including two soft drinks and appetizer.
