The Superior Court of California County of Tuolumne works to resolve disputes and apply the law fairly and efficiently to provide equal access to the public and community for courts and judicial process. Located in Sonora, Calif., it maintains a civil division that helps people with a variety of legal issues, such as family law, domestic violence, guardianship, small claims, conservatorship, unlawful detainer, elder abuse and civil harassment. The court undertakes a range of criminal cases that includes minor offenses, traffic infractions, robbery and murder.
