Took my stihl chop saw in to be repaired. Not only did they fix it for less then I was quoted by another shop it was done the very next day. I own a concrete finishing company and I use my saws a lot. Now that I've found Mervs I have a place I can trust to get me running again quickly. Thanks guys.

Mervs mowers is a great place to have your lawn mower, pressure washer or chainsaw repaired. I take mine anytime they need it and I have always been treated well. They are reasonably priced compared to other shops in the area. Billy is very knowledgeable and he has a staff of some talented mechanics.

Things must have changed since the reviews were wrote on here cause I've been doing business with mervs for a few years now and I'm always 100% pleased. I've never had any problems. Not only do they do great work its always reasonably priced. Never had any issues the other reviews claim to have.

I don't understand the reason for all the negative reviews here. I have been using Merv's service since 2005 and brought them at least 5 gas powered tools and machines, and have never had a problem with them.

Merv's mower is a joke! We took our mower there about 2-3months ago. Got it back today and it barely starts. Mind you it started when we took it there and ran great but it kept throwing the belts off. Not only did the owner tell us he doesn't know what's wrong but he said"sometimes you just don't know what's wrong" they think it's this or that and wants $300 to fix something they think is wrong...that's not how business is done. Also my parents brought there mower there at the same time. They got it back after paying $300, took it elsewhere because it didn't work and they don't know what's wrong, and the new mechanic said, I don't want to say anything bad, but I don't know what happend to this mower, at this point it's not worth fixing. DONT GO TO MERV'S!!!

I moved to Sorrento a couple of months ago and I need a fuel line and air filter on one of my blowers so I took it to Merv"s Mowers. What a big mistake that was. Merv told me that it would cost $35.00 and be done in 3 days. Great!!! right??? NOT SO MUCH!!! 9 days later I call them and I'm told that my equipment is beyond repair. Wait what??? They took it apart and told me that my piston is scored. It was not when I brought it to him. So I go to pick it up and he tried to charge me $10.00 for them to destroy it and not do the work I told them to do. Then he gave it back to me completely dissembled in a bag. He was trying to keep to use it for parts or was going to fix it right and resell it. WTF IS THAT!!! WHAT A LOSER!!! NEVER, NEVER, EVER LET THE PEOPLE AT MERV'S MOWERS TOUCH ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO EVER USE AGAIN.

You are not alone ocalaforestguy32767. Merv's has a scam on giving out a price and then wanting

more money at pickup, and they try to justify this by printing on their paperwork to not go by the

price the mechanic gives you. Why does the mechanic give out any prices if they are not good/usable?

Merv's also charges for unused items and leaves your mower unprotected out in the open yard where rain can add more

damage to your paint, electric wiring & controls, seating. They do not have enough dry storage space.

Do not approve any work from Merv's . If you have no other choice get a written bill before giving permission to

continue, however they crossed out the first price and wrote what they wanted.

WARNING !!!! DO NOT USE MERV's MOWERS or you will be sorry.

Try Florida Bike & Mower, Trail Saw or just fix it yourself.

bought a snapper rider 4 yrs ago and mervs always has parts answers and a friendly attitude like a family owned buisness should .

I went to Merv's Mowers with a simple problem: My weed eater wouldn't run. They told me on the phone they could recondition the entire fuel system for $50. When I dropped my machine off, I was told it would take a week. 5 phone calls, 3 visits and a total of 4 weeks later, I am still getting nothing but excuses. When I call or stop in, it takes them an average of 15 to 20 minutes just to find my paperwork. Plus, the repair bill is now up to $90, which is quite literally pennies from the cost of a new machine altogether.



I've decided to just go buy a new weed eater. If I were you, I'd do the same before bringing anything to Merv's Mowers for repair. They have had mine for 1/2 the summer. My yard looks like something I'd never live next to, much less in. I'll never go back to Merv's Mowers again.

The quality of work is exceptional. The rates are very reasonable. This is a local business man who knows how to stay in business by treating his customer with respect.
