Would never take my dog there again. Just spent two hours there and ended up leaving. There were two people ahead if me my dog was brought back out to me saying her vitals were good the doctor will be right out. Four people come in after me nothing earth shattering with their animals and they were back there being seen while I sat there for two hours.
When I questioned them they told me oh a few more minutes I told them forget it I was here first yet everyone else's animal was being seen first. Not acceptable they need to find someone who knows how to run a business.

Heartless.... money grubbers.....
brought my dog in for an ultrasound because my regular vet took x rays and found an obstruction, they took him in the back room and a few minutes later came back out to ask if they could perform a parvo test. They then told me it was positive and gave me the options of treating or putting him down, when they gave me the estimate of how much it will cost I told them that I didn't have that kind of money ( it was an emergency hello) and then told me my dog couldn't leave the facility. I was basically forced to have him put down, when I asked for the test results of the parvo they couldn't produce any documentation for me to see just their word. I really felt like they were out to get money not try to save my precious family member.. oh and when they did put him down they did it on the cold tile floor... take the extra time to go further away

If I can give negative stars I would. My cat was dying & took him here to get him on antibiotics or some kind of treatment. Vet came into the room said he needs to be hospitalized & would be back with estimates. Don't talk about saving my cat or anything....their biggest concern was money & that I should put him down. I paid for the exam which told me nothing I already didn't know. Then more money for bloodwork to try to find out more.....again....nothing I already didn't know. Anyway, I ended up bringing my cat home wrapped up in a blanket ready to be buried. My cat wouldn't have made it even if he was hospitalized. It was the hardest decision I had to make, but my cat is no longer suffering. They try to make it seem like they care by having funny animal videos playing in the waiting room, & coffee and hot chocolate available, but are anything but caring. I wonder how they would feel if one of their family members were treated this way. Shame on them.

Disappointed and Cheated

Our 11 year old Keeshond was urinating blood so we rushed to this facility for immediate help. It was the day after Thanksgiving and we are visiting from Virginia Beach, VA. Our family dog, "Bear", is a little defensive and has issues on having tests done on him. We made it clear that we were worried and would like to know what is causing Bear's bloody urine. A simple urinalysis was what we expected but instead, the assigned vet asked us to collect urine from Bear outside so that they could test. We agreed to collect the urine ourselves for testing. What we were puzzled about is why no one can perform this simple test in house? It is beyond my understanding that none of these veterinarians is capable of performing a urinalysis. Instead, they sent out the urine plus they added to do the culture. The total charges are almost $350 and we still have to wait for days to no end until we received the actual results of the tests. I would give this place a half star or no star if it was available. (1) why not learn to do in house urinalysis and offer it to those who are from out of town? We had to rush home the very same night to go to our vet in Virginia Beach to get a definite diagnosis in house. (2) Explain the need of a culture when a simple urinalysis is sufficient. This place is money hungry. (3) your associates should offer to help in collecting specimen (urine). Afterall, we are the client and you are the associates. I hope you consider all these feedbacks and put them to good use!

I can't say enough about the c...

I can't say enough about the care received here. Dr. Young treated my dog Samantha as an emergency. She was basically paralyzed in her back legs. Dr. Young was professional, honest, and gave direction for the best course of treatment and follow up and in the most cost-efficient manner, unlike many other emergency clinics in the area. I have the utmost respect for this animal hospital. They truly put your pet's interest as the main priority, not just dollars and cents. I will travel the extra distance for this standard of care.
