First let me say that this is the first time in my life I have ever taken a taxi, so maybe all of this is normal. Ok disclaimer done. I had to take a taxi because my car broke down and I was out of my home state for my daughter's competition. The driver was right on time, he was very personalble, and friendly(hence the four starts), the dispatcher I talked to on the phone was also very helpful, and friendly. The car was a yellow Prius taxi, so easily identifiable. The car however, was not that great, dents in the outside, and ridiculously dirty on the inside, not trash or clutter, but just grimy looking door handles, upolstery, and carpet. I realize that they are used by many people every day, but yuck! The only other thing was, the driver didn't seem to know where he was going. He didn't even attemp to use his phone for GPS until he was stuck in construction, which I never even saw until then, and I had been from my hotel to the venue twice already.
