Provided by YP.comif you don't have anywhere else to go they will do but the couple of times I've been there haven't left a good impression on me or my wife. They always try to jack up your bill by adding procedures, shots, and whatever else they think your animal might need. I went in for a rabie shot with my dog and before I knew it the nurse was tacking on a bunch of tests that I hadn't asked for and that she hadn't even asked me if it was ok to do, they were just going to run them!
It wouldn't be so bad if they would ask you if you want it done but they just start writing it up and don't even ask you if you want these tests done to your animal. Plus, the few times I have taken an animal in for an emergency, they want to go straight in and do the expensive tests rather than the cheaper ones to try and save you a buck and still help your pet. What ended up being wrong with our animal, the test for it only cost under fifty dollars, but this was after the doctor tried to convince us to go into debt to pay for the treatment they wanted us to have which was over 500 dollars.
So, if you don't have anywhere else to go the Western Veterinary will do but overall they are to pricy and seem to care more about getting your money than trying to take care of your animal in the best way. Heck, the receptionist wasn't even that friendly! Lol, just ridiculous!

Provided by YP.comIf you consider your pet a family member and expect your veterinarian to treat them the same way then do not use Western Veterinary Clinic. Our 6 year old black lab had a growth on his chest that was looked at by all 3 vets on staff over a 6 month period. Looking at it and touching it they diagnosed it as a fatty tumor. None of them showed any concern until the sixth month when the tumor started bleeding.
They recommended surgery and scheduled it for March 26th 2018. Within 48 hours our dog was experiencing kidney failure and we had to euthanize him. The histopath results came back afterwards and the growth ended up being a mast cell tumor, one of the most common cancerous tumors in black labs.
We had another vet look over all our dog’s records. This vet stated that upon seeing any tumor on an animal a fine needle aspiration procedure should be performed to determine what kind of growth or tumor is about to be surgically removed. This vet also stated that cutting into a mast cell tumor will release excess amounts of histamines, which can lead to shock, then internal bleeding and organs shutting down. We never received any explanation of any kind from Western Veterinary Clinic. We do not want to see any other family have to go through this awful ordeal.
