We rented a home for 28 months, Marita Dorr from VA properties and Management Services was the property manager. She was terrible every stop of the way. She is very slow to respond to any form of communication. She is slow to have repairs completed. Having expenses reimbursed timely is impossible (should have never been paid by tenant anyway). After 30 days and a threat file with the BBB she finally sent me a check to reimburse for a repairman I had to pay because she didn't. Upon move out we had a flawless final inspection. 43 days after move out I still hadn't received a refunded security deposit, but at day 43 received a letter that she would be withholding $$ to repair an ice maker. This was the first I had ever heard of a broken ice maker, it certainly was never discussed in the final inspection. This property manager lacks integrity, is unprofessional, slow to respond and exceptionally forgetful.
