Food runs in my family. After WW2 my grandfather Leo (Pepe) owned a diner in the Fitchburg railroad depot serving breakfast & lunch. When I was growing up he’d always ask me if I was a chef yet–I loved cooking and he knew some day my ambitious dreams would lead me to my own breakfast & lunch spot–and he was right. In early 2019 my family and I began renovating an old local diner in South Deerfield. We finished the work in August of that year, and I knew there was only one name for the business–thus Leo’s Table was born. If Pepe were here today, he would be so proud.
