These guys are awesome! I asked them to copy some files for me onto a new computer that I had just purchased, and they were very knowledgeable and efficient. They answered all of my questions and took the time to explain everything to me. The cost was reasonable. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly and will definitely return if I need technical assistance in the future!

It is unfortunate that after almost 20 years running a local business serving the people of Cape Cod for all there IT needs, that one person has the ability to attempt to degrade our immaculate record. The person placing this review is not even a customer of ours. He is simply a boyfriend of a granddaughter of one of our cherished customers and has decided to lash out without even having all the facts straight. The Mobile PC Doctor, Inc staff prides itself on always being fair to its customers and has given countless discounts especially to our elderly customers in the interest of good business. There were potentially some issues that arose with this particular call that were addressed by our staff and a refund was given to reflect those issues. Our belief is that this slanderous person has decided that it is more "macho" to bash us on the internet rather than search for the facts. Our 20 year reputation speaks for itself. We as computer technicians realize that not everyone understands the depth of our knowledge and it is our responsibility to help educate those who jump to conclusions when they don’t truly understand what is being done. We understand that this is the part of the business and we will continue to provide quality service to all of our customers. All we ask is that our customers give us the opportunity to explain and or fix any glitches that may arise in the complicated world we live in. Mobile PC Doctor in South Dennis, MA represents the MOST blatant exploitation I have ever seen from a “legitimate” computer service company. This company made MANY house calls to an elderly couple to service a BRAND NEW desktop. Mobile PC sent out a technician to service this computer 5 times for a unit less than one year of age. They charge $120.00/hour for their house calls, and one of these calls was even a two hour ($240.00) visit. When looking over the invoices, the only troubleshooting it appears that they actually list is malware clean-up, anti-virus scans, registry error clean-up, tracking cookie removal, etc. All of these tasks could have been easily completed with a single click of a program already installed on the customer’s computer on the date of purchase. In one invoice, they claim to have recovered images and documents; However, the user advised me that there are still family photos and documents missing. The speed and security problems are not fixed, the computer (which is still under its 1-year warranty) is still not performing normally. When I sat down to remedy some of the issues (and let me add that I am not a computer technician by any means), I performed two complete anti-virus scans, a registry error clean-up, installed a pop-up blocker, recovered one file of family photos, and enabled the data backup feature which was already available on the unit, as well as several security features which had been previously disabled. This was within one week of Mobile PC Doctor’s most recent $120.00 visit and I was there 50 minutes. When I called Mobile PC Doctor for an explanation of what these service visits entailed, an employee tried to explain the simplest of service actions with incredible detail to sound as though a great deal had been done. After she agreed that what their technician had accomplished could not take one (let alone two) hours to complete, she justified by advising extra time is used to answer questions and explain issues. However as I previously stated, the users are no more educated on how to use their computer, remedy their own issues, or operate the singular beneficial program installed by Mobile PC Doctor. At no point did they suggest the users contact Dell about servicing the computer while under warranty. They have charged this couple over $600.00 to service a computer less than one year old. This computer was and is still under warranty for all hardware and software issues and if they had advised the owners to contact Dell about any or all of the issues they claimed to resolve and did not, Dell would have sent a technician to their house free of charge.
