Again the 2000's brought more expansion and changes. Today 150 acres of land are farmed by the Preli brothers, including the former Scaglia Farm which is under preservation by the Connecticut Farmland Trust. Along by their side, Donna is still currently involved in the operation as head baker, their two sisters Dorothy and Joanna managing different areas, their wives and numerous relatives still work to keep the orchard thriving. As times go by, things change, but over the past 100 years Belltown Hill Orchards has remained a family passionate to grow quality fruit. With farming becoming a fading pastime, we are happy to live on and provide our community with the freshest, most delicious fruit around. We look forward to see what the future brings and hope our family traditions get passed down again to another generation.

The guys are very very rude especially if you are of different race other that white " they will say i am watching you".

They will be roaming around you until you are done picking and makes you real

uncomfortable .

They should learn to treat people of every color in the same manner with some respect and to be polite

Good Apples Bad People

Good Apples Bad People....

The farm is big and has good Apples and Pears.

However it doesn't have any marks/lines to indicate which apples to pick and which to not..what they have is a fat old lady who will yell at you and spoil your day if you step beyond her imagination of where you shouldn't go which she did to us...beware of her, She talks very rude and doesn't try to understand what you are saying. Also threatens to throw you out of the farm if you don't get her mind...

Also when I was about to checkout there was another old lady who asked If I had both apples and pears in the same bucket and when I said yes she started shooking her head as if I done a big blunder. I politely told her that I will seperate the 5-6 Pears from the bucket for checkout but she still had the same sad look...

BELLTOWN ORCHARDS FARM PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN TO BE NICE, HAPPY AND FRESH AS THEIR APPLES...

Trips are for fun...Find a better place.
