I went here with a few South Haven natives who love the place. It was packed--understandably, because it was around dinner rush. However, the server was incredibly rude. First thing, she began complaining how she had been left without tips by her previous customers while making a condescending comment about my friends' ages as we're all young adults. She also told us she was not punched in to work and that her bosses (although she claimed they were "like family") had made her work longer than her shift. All of this was said before she had even taken our orders--and she didn't even tell us her name! One of my friends ordered a grilled cheese and she taunted him, "Oh, you want some curwy fries and a chocowate milk with your gwilled cheese?"

Another friend joined us late and did not get his drink until 15 minutes after we ordered originally. Other than the time she gave him his drink late, she did not come to our table again until 45 minutes later when the food came. While our server was terrible, another server did a good job of just reminding us that our food was being made, which was kind.

When our food did come out, my friend did not get the curly fries he ordered. He did not complain, but mentioned it at the end of our meal. She refused to be accountable for any of the mistake and offered no apology--simply blaming "the kitchen" and saying they couldn't handle the rush. When we were almost done eating, she came up to us saying that she was leaving and we needed to check out. So we walked up to the register, where she made a homophobic comment about my two male friends paying together (who aren't gay, but the comment is insensitive nonetheless).

The wait for food was fine and we were very patient. We had no problems with the food. However, our server was absolutely awful and it ruined the whole experience. Although I tipped her (because I was a server in a similar restaurant once), I completely understand why she had gone without a tip for the afternoon. She must've known better than to give out her name as she provided poor service.

If you do go into Nemo's, avoid a light blonde long-haired young woman with glasses and an appalling demeanor.
