Dr. Bleil chose family medicine because it offers the physician the opportunity to provide continuity of care and experience life at all stages with patients and their families. It also allows them to understand the science and the humanity of medical care. His family has been a big inspiration in his life, especially two of his uncles who were physicians. Dr. Bleil loves problem solving and helping patients to develop the solutions that will help them heal. When he isn’t at work, he enjoys volunteering with his wife, skiing, biking and flying small airplanes.“It is important to me that when a patient gets home after an appointment they feel they understand how they can begin to heal or improve their health. Healthcare is about teamwork and the patient guides that team. As a physician, I need to do my best to understand their vision; lead them based my knowledge and experience, and do my best to ethically help them achieve that goal.”
