I’ve only had good experiences at this location of business. I also like the discount I’m given for paying up front.

I'd honestly give this place negative stars if I could. I do not think I could grasp the English language well enough to express how awful an experience that was endured with dealing with this place. Mind you I have never left any reviews on anything in my entire life. HOWEVER, I had to make an exception for Town & Country Cleaners of South Hill, Virginia.

I wanted a tux and white shirt pressed for myself and my soon to be bride wanted her dress and veil pressed as well. I explained it was short notice and I needed them back as quickly as possible for our wedding and the manager of the store said no problem. I was grateful he took the job on such short notice and thanked him. A few hours later I retrieved the articles of clothing. Everything appeared to be in order up until it was time for my soon to be wife and I to get dressed for our wedding. For starters my shirt came with 2 sets of buttons on it; a white set and a satin black set. I was fancying the black set for our special occasion however they were cut off of the shirt and nowhere to be found. They didn’t even have the decency to put them in one of my pockets. SURPRISE!!!! BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE… My Brides veil was broken from the hair clip and is attached by a safety pin. DOUBLE SURPRISE!!!! We are already at our Church and she has no way to attach her veil to her head.

Days later we returned to the cleaners to speak to someone. The same guy was behind the counter sitting there with a blank stare on his face. I really just wanted answers to 4 questions:

1) Who did this?
2) Why did they do this?
3) Why wasn’t a phone call made to ask about the button being cut or explain the veil situation?
4) Why upon pickup of the clothing was nothing mentioned especially when you were informed it was for a wedding same day instead of sitting there in dim lighting playing on your phone?

Town and country cleaning is the only cleaners in the game that I trust my items with! I am a new customer to there business and they have won my vote for the best cleaners in South Hill. All employees of the business have made me feel like i have been a repeat customer for many years! Whenever you walk in the doors of town and country they are always so helpful and should be a model for how every cleaners should be run! I have delt with the other cleaners in south hill and there customer service is not even close to how you are treated at Town and Country! My dress shirts that I resonantly dropped off just came back in 2 days and looked like they were pressed off of the factory line and looked brand new! The family operated business is where I would take my business if I were you! Quality prices at an excellent product outcome! Come out and help a south hill family owned and operated business that has my approval as a 5 Star cleaners!

I took in a suede leather jacket for cleaning and when i picked it up the only change in it was the holes that were all over my coat.the stain i took it in for was still there. Use caution when doing business here. READ ALL THE DISCLAIMERS The lady working the front gave me the disclaimer to sign and told me it was so i knew they were going to put chemicals on my coat. but if you read it it says they are not responsable for any damage they do. Thats a get out of jail free card. i would give them a half a star if i could. Dont waste your time.
