Provided by YP.comI feel that this moving company was very unprofessional. When I contacted them regarding moving I was given a qoute of $425.00 for three hours of continuous moving of with four men. They were supposed to be at my house by 10:00 am and got there 20 minutes to eleven with three men instead of the four they promised. Most of the time there were only two out of the three men actually working to move things out of the house. They kept claiming that the other guy was making room on the truck. I was moving out of an 1100 square foot house to a house around the same size less than five miles away. After it took them almost five hours to load half of my house they were suppose to follow me to my new house less than ten minutes away yet they arrived about 15 minutes after I got there and I had to call them twice to see where they were at. I had several items damaged including holes in my wall. When I questioned why was my leather sofa wet they got upset very smug and nasty. In my opinoin they service was horrible. I felt like the movers were inexperienced, and unwilling to own up to the damaged they caused. I felt like they were taking their precious time so they could milk the clock. I even got in a 20 minute debate with the owner. So much for "The customer is always right!"I ended up with a damaged portable fire place a broken clock, a broken oven that they tried to piece back together, a broken computer stand, they damaged my flat screen television and my sofa was wet, ripped and scratched, and all they were willing to offer my is $50.00 of my bill of over $900.00. I would not reccomend that anyone work with they guys. I feel that they are scammers, unprofessional, liars. I would not recomed anyone use this moving company. So much for supporting black owned businesses! :-(

We initially found this company via research on the internet, due to our situation we had to pay for two moves almost totally $1,000. The owner of the company Roman seemed professional at the outset of our initial move. By the time of our second move which was a few days following our first move the owner seemed impatient and rushing, due to the fact that on the first move one of his movers destroyed the canopy steel rods to our expensive master bed and the owner did not want to compensate us for this damage. After numerous phone calls to the owner he reluctantly sent us a check for $30.00 to cover the damage of our canopy rods, these rods individually are priced well above $150.00 per rod and there are 4 rods total. Replacement of these rods cost me and my wife well over $500.00 and the owner issued us a check for a measely $30.00 did not return phone calls or was man enough to discuss the matter with us any further once he received payment for our final move. This company is an African-American owned company and it pains me to say it but it is less than professional. The movers employed at this company do not take the care in the handling of your furniture nor do they have common decency or respect for your home. My wife found one of the movers using our bathroom without permission. This company is not the company you want to use if you care about your valuables and cherish your belongings. If they do damage your property the owner will squirm his way out of compensating you for your valuables while trying to ensure that you pay for the move so that he can quickly get out of your home without proper compensation for your valuables. Truth Moving and Storage in South Holland, Il. is not the company to use for a professional move!
