They will leave and charge you for the time, and claim that they were retrieving a part. But I heard the plumber say while on the phone with the office that he was going to finish work in a different condo unit.

Our condo recommended this company so I tried it. Had a no service fee agreement to determine the issue. The plumber comes and looks for only 5 minutes, found NO LEAK in piping, but he DAMAGED my kitchen sprayer by hitting it several times on the basin. He told me that was the problem and after only 5-10 min. told me he will CHARGE me for one hour! Thanks to him, my faucet can no longer work.

I live in a highrise, so I know the plumbing is probably not as straightforward as a standard home. Our building recommends that we use Suncoast Plumbing. I have tried and tried to use these plumbers. 1 out of 4 has been competent, and seemed to be somewhat familiar with the building. Other than that, I'm sure one was either stupid or high. He couldn't manage to put my drain in my sink and offered to go run an errand because he was sure he was missing a part (all the while charging me by the hour). I offered to run to the plumbing supply store for him if he would just tell me what part he needed, but he knew nothing of a plumbing supply store. After that, he miraculously put in the drain without "a missing part" and charged me for 2 hours of labor - to put in a drain! He left me very confused at what had just happened, until I realized that he had been lying about the "missing part."

The other two incidences were not as bad, but the plumbers were completely unfamiliar with the high rise. Only one was competent but was pretty unfriendly.

All in all, I've given this company a lot of my money, and I have a bathroom with a tub that still leaks. (The sink works just fine, minus the "missing part") I'm switching plumbers. It's amazing how much people have to put up with from their plumbers. Any other form of skilled professional would lose their shirts if they did such a horrible job.
