Our normal vet was so busy and couldn't see us for a week so we decided to try this gentle vet. They got us in right away! But not only that, they were very concerned and helpful. The doctor went above and beyond with his help for our dog. We are definitely going to stay with them now for everything. I highly recommend this vet to anyone

I am so impressed with Dr. Olson. I was able to get my dog in the same day I called as she was sick. He was so gentle with her and was so attentive to my dog and I. I cannot stress how much that means to me. He is very gentle and I was very comfortable there. I was also incredibly impressed with how nice the staff was and how much they took care of not only my dog but me. I am a forever customer of Dr. Olson!

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LOCATION HAS NEW VETS AND STAFF!!*** Previous reviews are for the old vet and I want to emphasize that because Dr. Olson is AMAZING!! I cannot say enough GREAT things about Dr. Olson, his staff and facility!! I have never been treated so well anywhere else! I really truly believe he is the best vet in Utah. Dr. Olson is incredibly thoughtful, attentive, thorough and he tells you exactly what the processes and procedures are and how long they will take. My dog is incredibly sweet but has very high anxiety when she goes to the vet. She tends to growl and shake and it always makes me so nervous because I hate that she is nervous and I don't want anyone to think she is scary. Dr. Olson understands her and her body language and is absolutely incredible with her!! He is so gentle with her and makes sure she has a pleasant experience every time. I cannot tell you how much that means to me! I never feel judged, they always make sure I am comfortable there, that my dogs are comfortable and they have an amazing attention to detail with their customer experience/service. I am just blown away. If you are looking for an incredible vet with the sweetest staff look no further!!!

I sure wish I would have seen the other reviews listed here before taking my dog into A Gentle Vet for a dental exam. I must say that I also agree with the other 1 star reviews. We were quoted over $600 to have our dogs teeth cleaned, polished and possibly some extracted. We were also told that our dog had a tick in her heart valve and that the white glow in her eyes was caused by the hair around them not being trimmed. When we saw the quote and said we needed to think about it the Doc at the clinic replied and said that he was giving us a pretty good discount. Yeah right! He didn't even have the time of day to enter his diagnosis in the computer correctly! We ended up going to Midvalley Animal Clinic for a second opinion and what a treat. The Doc there actually took more than one minute to exam our dog. She didn't hear anything wrong with her heart and took the time to actually look at her eyes and was able to tell us what was really wrong with them. It was a much better experience and oh...the cost for the dental work was half the price. I would be cautious when considering taking your animals to A Gentle Vet! Based on the other reviews I am not the only one that feels this way.

A Gentle Vet is amazing you ppl should be nicer they pulled together a miracle yesterday my dog was dying bout to die she had pyrometric infection in uterus and if it was not for The lady's and Doc and everyone that reached out to me my dog Angel wouldn't be alive check my story out and you will see they deserve 5 stars I will always and continue from this point forward keep them as my pet they are a life saving facility . Rethink your review plz. Thank you A GENTLE VET. Today wouldn't be possible with you.

My month old filly ran under a bar and about scalped herself. Dr Hagloch lives in our neighborhood and it was after hours and I was scared. I called him and he rounded up what was needed and came to the rescue! Even though he is a small animal vet,I knew he also loved the large animals and I needed help fast. He was kind and I am ever so grateful for his care. He was also willing to come in the middle of the night if our 18 yr old maiden mare needed help delivering. He is all about giving quality care for the animals. Thanks.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star! It is just like they say in the other two reviews. It's all about money. I have gone to them for mostly just the annual shots but this past year my elding dog needed more care. In less than 6 months, I had over $900 worth of pills (that didn't seem to work) and over priced procedures. I have now found a wonderful vet that truly seems to care about the animals and doesn't take advantage of the fact that your animal is a part of the family. Karma at Brookside Animal Hospital was wonderful! I would take my dog there anytime!

They kept trying to sell me things my animal does not need. They dont seem to care about my dogs at all.

The people here are more about money then the animals.
