For years now I have been talking about getting a tattoo, but every time I thought to go do it I would back down. Mind you, I am just shy of 50, so you can imagine how many times I have put this off.



Not this time.



When vacationing in Tahoo with my boyfriend we stopped by several places checking out the tattoos they had on the wall and the books. I knew what I wanted but nothing came close. We stopped in to Cosmic Creations and I spoke with them about what I had in mind. I threw a bit of an idea on a piece of scrap paper and showed it to Colby. Within five minutes he had the exact drawing I was looking for! My idea was coming together and I was excited.



While Colby got everything set up, he handed me some colored pencils so I could show him exactly how I wanted it colored. How fun was that to be able to collaborate on my first tattoo. 45 minutes later I was walking out the front door with the tattoo I have waited so long for.



Now that this one has healed, I have already begun thinking of the next one and wondering how long it will take me to get back to Lake Tahoe!
