Beers were served at the proper temperature in a variety of glassware. I was impressed to receive their dubbel served in a Westmalle chalice.

The restaurant offers a large menu with lots of selection. I chose their short ribs of beef special for a dinner entree and it was an absolutely huge portion size. The food was good, and served as a nice accompaniment to the beer.

Great atmosphere around the bar and plenty of tvs for watching the game. Football day every game is on and it a good place for that and some cold drafts.

I have been frequenting this family-owned and managed brewpub on a nearly weekly basis for about a year now. Living in Summit, I have no problems driving 15 minutes or hopping on the train if I want to go out for beer or food--this establishment is, in my opinion, the finest around.

They are not family friendly. Often times they will not serve kids or will ask you to leave. The food is ok, but overpriced. There are better restaurants in South Orange and Maplewood than this one.
