When it first opened we loved this Italian restaurant. But the service declined over the years. The last time we went was on New Year's Eve a couple years ago. They automatically gave themselves a 20% tip for a party of 3 and did not point it out. We added a 20% tip and a $20 bonus as a NYE gift. When we went home and noticed that we had inadvertently tipped 40% + $20 = $70 on $120 dinner, we called the next day. The gentleman identified himself as the owner and said, no problem, he would leave a note with the hostess to refund us the double tipping. But the hostess had never heard of us that day or the next, and the owner did not return a follow-up call.



The food wasn't great enough to make up for the rip-off attitude.
