I wandered into this nail salo...

I wandered into this nail salon located next to the Bloom Supermarket in South Riding. I’m a late 50 something male and venturing into a nail salon was definitely a new experience for me. I was warmly greeted by Helen. She sensed my nervousness and patiently calmed my racing heart back down to a reasonable level. I explained that I’d wanted to get and manicure. Helen proceeded to correct my abused cuticles and to shape my ragged nails. She then exfoliated my hands and forearms by massaging them with lotion and followed up with a paraffin treatment. For the final step, she asked me if I wanted my nails to be clear polished shiny. I whispered yes. The next week with more confidence I went back for a pedicure/foot leg massage. Men should not be afraid to pamper themselves too.
