Took my GTR to Met auto after I was referred by the manager of an exotic car shop in Park City. At first Det made room in his busy schedule to have me bring my vehicle in and his demeanor reminded me of an old school shop. My vehicle had a list of minor problems that needed to be addressed and it would be in the shop for a little while. I dropped it off July 2, 2018 before going out of town for the 4th of July weekend. Shoot forward to Monday arriving back in town, I had no calls or voicemails on my phone but was told Det was trying to get ahold of me. When I called Met Auto, I was met on the other end by a very hostile individual whose first words were "your car is frustrating me and you need to come and get it out of my shop". According to Det he had been calling me and due to me being out of service area, he couldn't get through. I found it strange that there were no voicemails left but he insisted that he called me various times and would not work with an owner who doesn't answer their phone. He continued to repeat himself without allowing me to get in a word before I finally gave up and said "someone will come get the car". I don't know if he just couldn't figure out how to fix my vehicle or he just didn't want to deal with it. He was given all authorization prior to my trip for him to do whatever he needed to fix the issues regardless of cost. I will never recommend Met Auto to anyone and after a talk with the shop manager in Park City, his business will not be referring customers any longer.

Great repair shop, never feel like i'm getting nickle and dimed, even though repairs can be expensive these days, it is what it is. the mechanics, as near as i can tell have been there for many many years and seem to have a vast amount of experience in everything i've had the misfortune to throw at them, and there have been some pretty crazy and unusual problems. Det, the owner is smarter then hell and is a little ornery at times, but in the end has always completed the job to my satisfaction. think i've been going there for 10+ years now, and its always the same mechanics working on my cars.
