Timothy Edwards Middle School, located in South Windsor, Conn., is part of the South Windsor Public Schools. It offers classes to students in grades six through eight and has an enrollment of more than 1,300. It provides an educational environment where students can discover and use their full potential and addresses the needs and interests of students during the transition between elementary and high school. It provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. Courses are also offered to all students, which include computer education, library, health and physical education. All students are encouraged to take part in the school newspaper and student council. Timothy Edwards Middle School offers a variety of sports, including football, basketball, track and swimming.
