Provided by YP.comI HIGHLY recommend finding a different vet; with recent events with my dog I will never go to VCA again. To sum up as best as I can: My dog has been having on-going diarrhea for the past 2 months and everything could have been fixed within a week. I initially brought him in and asked "should I try grain free food" and the response was "no." Of course I listen to their answer and the advice for what steps to take. Needless to say we had more visits with unanswered questions, given more meds, and had to purchase expensive food (GI, hydrolyzed protein). Finally, we asked to see someone else since he wouldn't bind. Once again first thing I asked was "should I try grain free" and once again, I received the same response. My dog was then put on meds and new food again. He declined, the poor dog couldn't hold his bowels. Finally, I said F it, I am trying grain free. IT WORKED!
Now, I am trying to get reimbursed for not even the meds, just the 3 different bags of food I had to purchase (but shouldn't have if they told me to try grain free). They are telling me it's policy that I can only get my money back if I have the bag. Well, 1.their staff never informed me to keep the bag in case the food doesn't work/help, and 2. the food makes my dog worse....so I threw it away instinctively. They are telling me that I still need the bag and refuse to reimburse me.
Needless to say, VCA cares more about my money than my own dogs well being. I will NEVER go to a VCA vet again.

Provided by YP.comHad a great experience with these guys. We first took our cat to another animal hospital. We had an appointment which lasted forever because they were trying to bond with our cats, don't get me wrong that's totally fine, but after an hour we were like can we just get this going?
At VCA, we barely waited in the wait room, put our cat on the table they had in there, the vet was very friendly and went right to work talking us through the whole thing. Another tech came in to take a look and helped us out. After an ear cleaning (what we were there for for him) they sent us home with meds which worked great. 5 star experience all around.

Provided by YP.comPROS: Dr. Mac is a great, straight-forward vet. There's always plenty of staff available so there's never a long wait. Facility has all of the meds & equipment you would want available at a veterinarian's office. Staff is, for the most part, friendly.
CONS: It's filthy and hasn't been updated in 20 years. Some of the techs are great, others are horrible (one used a broken thermometer on my cat, just took his temp as low and then I noticed a flea jump from her sleeve onto my cat!) Doctors & techs are not open to alternative options (raw diet, nutritional therapy, etc)
