Provided by YP.comAvoid this place like the plague. I needed a transaxle for my car and they said they had one in the Westhampton yard. The first one was missing the output shaft on the left side, so I look at another vehicle. The payloader operator picks it up with the forks, and you can't even see the transaxle. All you can see is an iceberg of sand, so I had to decline that unit.
I stop by the yard in Southampton, and Kevin says he can get one from Queens. He brings it in, and the pan is so dented you can see the outline of the solenoids in the valve body. Additionally not only is the transmission fluid blackened and burnt, the main seal at the torque converter was baked hard as a rock.
He wanted $750 for a baked and burnt transaxle which is a good price for a "Grade A" transaxle, not one burnt to a crisp. They still have yet to refund the $650 they owe me three days later.
Don't even buy a tail light from these idiots.

Provided by YP.comI've heard great things about this yard and some other Euro trash enthusiasts have told me that depending on how old your car is they have often let a lot of parts "go".
I'm an avid BMW enthusiast and its only second nature for this breed of enthusiast to go "CLEPTO" in a parts yard especially a pick and pull.
As it is I'm being shadowed to the bathroom at the local yards in my area. LOL Cant wait to try out the scene @ this insanely huuuuuuuuge inventory of bashed bavarians at the end of the Island.
Shopping in such places is not for the weary whatsoever and bizniz is bizniz blahblahblah
That said, I wouldn't try any glomming tactics on my first encounter or bring my bag in the yard with owned parts. Thats like riding a GSX-R into a Harley Biker Bar on Hog Night and saying STEP OFF to the affiliates!
