The Growth Opportunity Center, founded in 1974, is a community service of the Gloria Dei Church and is located in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. The center provides support and outreach services for the community. It assists people of all ages and from all backgrounds and offers physical, emotional and psychological support programs to individuals with disabilities. The center provides a full range of problem solving therapies and support services for children and teenagers. The Growth Opportunity Center provides family and individual counseling services. It provides educational tutoring classes to children and adults and also provides language and speech therapies for improving verbal and nonverbal communication skills. The center provides a full range of services for early identification and treatment of attention deficit hyperactive disorder.
