Our Mission at Goodwill Memphis is to change the lives of people with disabilities and other barriers to employment through the power of work, education, and empowerment. Goodwill hires and trains workers and provides job training and employment programs thanks to donors and shoppers in our Goodwill stores. We have locations throughout the Midsouth and N. Mississippi. Donations are accepted at store locations and at attended donation centers. Our goal is to make it quick and easy for you to donate your items to Goodwill. Drive up to our doors and a donor attendant will greet you, take your donations, and offer you a tax receipt for your records.

I walked in this goodwill and i seen a nintendo wii u for sale so i asked if i could try it out to see if it worked the cashier got the manager and the manager told me i couldn't try it out which makes no sense considering you can plug in any electronic in a wall outlet and try it out but you can't try out game consoles which is a lie because i've tried out a ps3 there before. In my oppinion that's super sketchy when you can't try the item out before you buy it.I believe it didn't work and the manager knew it and wanted to sell it and screw somebody over.

Too high priced. Clothes shud be cheaper. These r donations n they would get out more if they was cheaper. 4.99 and up?? No. Most stuff has holes n it or is stretched out or something. Mainly all shirts shud be priced the same, whether it's short or long sleeved and shud be a dollar to start with bc nothg n this store is a dollar. Jean's arent bad for the price but other things like kitchenware and appliances that are def over priced n toys. I can buy something new n a store for the price they want for most of the stuff. I understand they hv to make money, but still there r other thrift stores that base their prices alot better.

goodwill is not a for-profit business as someone else erroneously claimed. Jeez, I wish people would bother to learn something before they post, but it is the internet after all so I guess I'm not surprised.

Do they not understand these clothes are used and given to them? The prices are crazy! Nike jacket, with a hole 9.99... Come on. You get it free, price it low and get it out the door. Then put something in its place. I know clothes stockpile in a thrift store. More will be bought if the prices are lower... Come on. Stop being greedy and get back to how you used to be, here to help people out. Not to get rich!!!

worst goodwill! people donate here to help but goodwill doesn't help anyone. yes it might give some people jobs, low paying jobs, but that is all! It is a for profit company with outrageous prices! They will have price tags on kids clothing that is more than the original price tag that is still on the item! If I could pay 14.99 for my 7 year year old daughter a pair of pant then wth would I be at goodwill?!! also once I found a small cast iron pot, old, no brand name. It was marked 2.99 in 3 different spots..when I checked out the woman started peeling off the price tags and told me that it was wrong because it was a new item and worth more than that! It had rust around it! So beware they can and will change the price if they feel like it! Horrible customer service! Horrible ethics and no integrity. Donate to salvation army who does numerous things for the community such as angel tree, programs for men to get on feet, homes for women and children, free summer camp for kids, the Kroc center, job training and much more! You will never see a goodwill doing any of those things. Other suggestions are the house of grace in southaven or the heartland hands church on stateline rd.
