Provided by YP.comThe mood was alright, although the light were a bit dim there and I was getting really sleepy. My eyes were still adjusting, they need to bring the mood up.
The food was not the greatest, we had a large pizza which if you compare to a Costco large, it was way smaller.
Our waitress was unhappy about her tip and she apparently complained to others, so one of us went to give her $.
Also, the some of the staff was not serviceable all the time. They were always way too serious about everything that was going on that they didn't act friendly to individual parties, this was mainly the family owners.

Provided by YP.comSimply stated, Julio's is one of the hidden gems of Southbury, Connecticut. Specializing in everything from fine pizzas to fantastic homemade pasta dishes, Julio's is fabulous. Upon entering the establishment, my friends and I were immersed in a warm and inviting restaurant. We began our night, enjoying expertly made martinis that were simply original and refreshing while we wanted for our table. The ever so friendly owner lead us to our table where we were promptly greeted by an amazingly personable and enjoyable waitress. Enjoying the view of the wood fired pizza oven, we ordered and were promptly presented with our appetizers, which were amazing. The caprese, mussels sambuca, isalata romana, and insalata caesar were out of this world, each full of flavor and delectable. Our second course included veal milanese, vitello con rucola, rigatoni alla vodka with scallops, and bistecca alla griglia with gorgonzola and crab meat. To accompany our meals for the evening we enjoyed a fabulous bottle of David Bruce pinot noir. The evening was simply amazing, as each meal was created fresh and specifically for us, with fresh homemade pasta, and in my opinion some of the most amazing veal scallopini I have ever had prepared for myself. The night was finished with homemade brownies, apple tarts and tiramisu. Julio's is truly a fine dining experience, combining a beautiful atmosphere, personal and attentive service, and fantastic food. It is an under-appreciate restaurant and one of the best in the area.

Provided by YP.comThere I was in the middle of dinner...pasta with shrimp, etc. and suddenly realized that I had never had pasta quite as good as I was eating. When I inquired I was told that the pasta was homemade right at Julio's. One word for this pasta. YUM!
