Provided by YP.comMy five year old had to have caps on two back molars due to insufficient growth of enamel on the teeth. Our family dentist incorrectly assumed that the problem was with a lack of oral hygiene care and attempted to fill the cavities in office. After a VERY traumatic experience, they referred us to Dr. Rogers. My child was very fearful due to her experience, but the care given to my child by Dr. Rogers in the initial consultation and procedure made an unpleasant experience very easy and manageable for my daughter.

Provided by YP.comI have found a dentist who caters the dental needs of children. She has been in practice for over 25 years and is confident in her skills. She is a mother first, so your sons will be in a great place. Give her a try and you will Thank me. 4stars

Provided by YP.comPerhaps your 5 year old son has poor behavior.....I have been a patient of Dr. Rogers' for the past 17 years and never once have I had a bad experience. Dr. Rogers is a specialist and typically children are referred to her office because they are unmanageable at other offices. Does this apply to your son ma'am? I have witnessed first hand children crying in the office and the assistants come to the front and ask the parents to go into the back with their child. I would highly recommend her to any parent/child because she tries her hardest to make sure the patients are as comfortable as possible, even when the parents are more anxious then they are. When I have children, they will DEFINITELY be patients of hers.....

Provided by YP.comMy oldest daughter (21) was a patient (Detroit office) of Dr. Rogers for years. I have never had any bad experiences with this dentist. In fact, on our first visit, Dr. Rodgers did explain to me that parents were not allowed in the treatment area. I totally understood. After my daughter's visit with Dr. Rogers, the dentist called me back and explained to me that my daughter would pick up on my nervous action (I was very fearful of dentists) and that my actions could affect my child's dental experience negatively. I didn't realize that my anxiety was obivious as soon as I walked through the office door. Dr. Rogers was very professional, pleasant, down to earth and honest with me and my daughter. Seh made me feel very comfortable coming to her. My daughter NEVER complained or seemed fearful of any of our visits to see Dr. Rogers.
I'm not sure what happened in your situation, but I find it hard to believe that Dr. Rogers is a bully to anyone.

Provided by YP.comMy son is 5 years old. He had to have 2 teeth extracted and I should have known from the consultation not to take him back. When I did take him to have the teeth pulled, it was the worst experience for both of us. First off, the office doesn't allow parents in the back- I'll tell you why- because they do not want any witnesses on how they speak to the children. These children are scared and are wrongfully bullied by Dr. Rogers. She told him he was to big to be crying. Then she told him that her house is quiet and he was going to be too. After he did not stop crying she smacked him/the chair with the papers in her hand and told him to quit crying. I am completely dissatisfied and I am so sad that my son had to go through this. I plan to make formal complaints against this dentist. She is rude and has absolutely no business being a children only dentist if she is going to treat them this way.
