The first thing I noticed was that the server was more concerned with whatever she was doing in the kitchen. The server appeared lazy and did nothing for service. I had to yell in the kitchen to let the server know we were ready for the check, and again when ready to pay. The food was not good. My fiance is from Ethiopia and I know, and appreciate good Ethiopian cuisine from her superior culinary skills. I will never eat here again. It was also way overpriced. Three of us ate the lunch buffet and had 3 sodas, which totaled $36.09! I would look elsewhere for Ethiopian cuisine.

This place has awesome food, and they use teff for their injera bread, as opposed to wheat, so it tastes authentic, and is gluten free too. The second beef entree is my favorite; they have beef, pork, chicken, fish, and vegetarian entrees. The tea is wonderful, with a ginger flavor, and the plantain with ice cream and caramel dessert is not to be missed. Get the vegetarian and meat sampler, to try a variety of items. You'll be sure to find a favorite. I've eaten at Marathon in Windsor and at Blue Nile, but this is my favorite. They have a discount coupon on restaurant.com too.

I am not an adventurous eater.

A friend convinced me to give this place a try.

It is a small restaurant in a strip mall.

The food smells and tast wonderful. The staff is delightful. Both sit down and take out are offered.
