Provided by YP.comSo far so good, the nurses and staff are very concern. I think my Mom is in a good place right now. she has to learn to walk again and use her body, the therapy sessions are excellent. It is important to have family support, to make sure she is clean and question any concerns you may have. The rooms are very small but all she need is a bed, it depends on your outlook. My mom does not eat much, so my dad eats her lunch, he say's it taste pretty good. All we can say for now is so far so good, if anything changes. I'll be back

Provided by YP.comIf I could give this zero stars, I would. I also found used gloves on his night stand. There were missing items which the staff insisted I took home, dirty sheets, (I ended up changing the bed sheets myself), dirty clothes. Misinformation galore, it depends on who you ask what answer you get...they don't even know the proper forms to fill out. Most times I got "I don't know" for an answer. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and no communication. The staff was downright rude to me. I flew in from out of country when I heard my son had been transferred here because of a TBI for rehab, I did everything and spent 4-6 hours a day with him while there. When I arrived his entire bed area was filthy, they don't bother to clean up. Often they don't remove the meal tray and plates and it's still there for the next meal. During the two weeks I was there he deteriorated and ended up unable to communicate. When I first got there he was communicative, responsive & concerned about his appearance, but slowly lost the ability to communicate and became very agitated, which is not uncommon with brain injury. The doctor at Lakeland said he couldn't help him and told me he was being transferred to a local hospital where they could help with his mental outbursts and brain trauma, but instead transferred him to a psychiatric hospital where they had no experience with TBI and in fact were even unaware he had been in an accident and required rehab. It was strictly a hospital for mental illness. Because the doctor signed him in, I was unable to get him out and at this point he was not responsive and could not sign himself out. I could go on and on and on and on.
