I was incorrectly charged for services after my insurance changed. I was actually charged for shots when I shouldn't have been. It didn't seem right but I didn't have my new insurance on hand at the office to verify. Not a big deal.....people make mistakes. However when I inquired about it at my next visit I was told a request for a refund would be submitted but that's all that could be done and that I would have to talk to the business person. So I called her extension twice. I left a message the first time and the second time couldn't leave a message. Its been over a month and I have not heard back from her. Is this how you treat your patients? It's very frustrating! I was told at the office that it would probably just stay on my account as a balance. Really? It's not your money and therefore is not your decision to make. I was incorrectly charged, and should have the money refunded.

If you're considering this doctor, make sure you are fully aware of your insurance coverage....or find a different allergist.

First off the staff is wonderful. I visited Dr. Saad because I have been getting hives for several years. I have gone to several specialists without any clear answers. Dr. Saad knew what was going on and helped get it under control. I will be sending my friends and family to see him

I will be informing the state ...

I will be informing the state medical board of my experience. I came to the office for asthma exacerbation secondary to bronchitis. I was initially charged $250 before ever seeing the doctor. They informed me that my insurance didn't cover my appointment. I was then taken back by the nurse who did not take my blood pressure, respirations, pulse, etc... I am a 4th year medical student and have had asthma/allergies for 25 years. The doctor spent my 15 minute appointment talking to me about "asthma triggers." After which he suggested increasing my dose of inhaler that had previously been effective. Only after my suggestion of a short course of steroids to relieve that bronchitis did he prescribe the appropriate treatment. Months later my insurance informed me that they paid downriver allergy and asthma $250. I called the office and they told me yes they had been paid twice, but it was up to me to call and find out. Then they refused to mail me the check and I had to find time in my schedule to come pick up the check.
