Brought in a stuffed animal that was basically decapitated. Tailor was very friendly and had it good as new in time for me to surprise a very happy little boy with his best friend. I am so greatful to darlenes alterations and more. You have a family of customers for life.

Worse Ever.. I TOOK 2,Pairs of $65 levies that need alterations

Both were different.. measured them there.

The Guy NO DARLENE that didnt even speak ENGLISH good.

Maybe that's why. Insides looks just like a storage basement with out of dresses laying around. IS THERE EVEN A DARLENE. I ONLY MET a Pakistan dude name I believe to be Patel or something like that.

Point is TERRIBLE I LOST OUT OVER $150

I took in 2 pairs of men's pants for waist altering in Dec 2015. Days later when I tried them on, I discovered a cigarette burn hole on one of them (part of my good suit!) at the front thigh area. I don't smoke, but remember the cigarettes and lighter at Darlene's front door.

I have used them for alterations a couple of times now and they have done a good job, no complaints there. However on multiple occasions they have been closed when they are supposed to be open. This happened to me again today. I called yesterday to make sure this wouldn't be an issue, drove 20 minutes there just to see a paper note written on the door that they are closed. I from now on will be taking my business to Eva's Alterations. If this wasn't a problem that keeps continuing to happen, I would have stayed with this business, but come on! It's not like I get stuff altered very often, so they obviously have a problem sticking to their hours of business.

I took in a pair of wool slacks and 2 pair of jeans in to be shortened at Alterations by Darlene in Southgate. My wool slacks were clean, pressed, and hanging neatly on a hangar when I walked in. After the gentleman pinned my slacks, I hung them back up neatly on the hangar thinking that was how I was going to get them back. To my surprise and dismay, my good wool slacks are rolled around my jeans. I was going to give them a large tip because I need these slacks tomorrow. Here is my tip. Don't take your good wool slacks into Alterations by Darlene in Southgate. I guess I need to take them to the dry cleaners tonight to be cleaned and pressed again.

I've had my uniforms tailored here (very expensive uniforms no room for mistakes) always made perfect for my body. Always worked with me. Has awesome ideas for outfits. Knows everything there is to altering. Cash only.

I used this company to have my designer jeans altered. The alteration was a disaster! She did not reattach the seam/bottom back on the jeans, the jean legs were different lenghts, and the stiching was crooked. When i went back to have the problem fixed, I was told that I would have to pay for it!!!! I thought this was an experienced and professional company! I could have done a better job myself! Now I have to pay someone else for a job that should have been done right the first time! I would not recommend this company to anybody!
