Dined at this restaurant on 7/24/08. The dining room was full of diners so we sat at the sushi bar. Service was great. Our waitress answered all of our questions pleasantly and to our satisfaction. Sushi was delicious. A nice assortment of specialty rolls. The presentation was not over the top but instead very simple. The prices were extremely reasonable. We are pleased to have found this casual and very friendly little gem of place so close to home.

Overpriced! Horrible waitstaff! Today 5-2-2008 I went there with my children and a friend. They gave us our cooked food for my children and never put in our sushi order. When they finally did it wasn't presented very well. Then we started to eat and in my salmon avacado roll there were fish bones in it. The waitress never filled my water and never came back at all, not even to give us our check or to see how our food was. They didn't apologise for not placing the sushi order and they didn't give us a discount. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTURANT!!!!!

I've been going to Black Pine Tree for at least five years now. They are simply the best sushi around and their prices are excellent.
