They sent me the wrong parts, and told me
“ not our problem” now I have to miss more days of work to look elsewhere for the car part. NEVER doing business here again.

They were quite good on the telephone for customer service... They did not have my part but the associate offer to order it for me.

Mr. Nick Green, and his crew did a outstanding job finding, referring, and installing an engine and turbo in my car. Prior to waiting for another mechanic to do the same thing Mr. Green team found the engine and had it installed in a few weeks. he very was very helpful and efficient . This is the place to take your vehicle to get EXCELLANT service. I give Chuck @ Eddies 5 Stars. Thank-you very much Tracy @ David.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER. Sent me the wrong part. Had gone over the purchase several times to make sure I was getting the correct part from the correct vehicle. Invoice had WRONG year and model vehicle. Call and given # for returns. Called and left at least 7 messages-1 month no return call. If I could give them a zero rating I would.

I always seem to find what I want thier "they got it"and if not; they will get it for you. I never had a problem over there and I've been going there for more than 6 years.

I go there often to get parts for other cars and I always see the rudeness but its even worse when on the phone. Don't bother with these guys. The majority of them are scum.

Stay away! Horrible customer service. They will outright lie to your face. If one of their parts does not work or fit your car, they will not even accept a return on a NEW part, on which they made an error. They said to us "Not our problem". And they even said they didn't believe us that it did not fit. On the phone, the salesmen told us they GUARANTEE all parts. What a joke. Take your business elsewhere.



We had one bad experience and let it go, but after our latest extremely expensive experience, we will never go back and make sure none of our family or friends shop there. Also, don't bother selling them your old cars. They require you to be there when they pick it up, making you take time off of work, and they just don't show up. Depending on your job, the time lost isn't even made up by the time you wasted waiting for them over multiple days! Not reliable in any way.

They actually told me off because i was looking for the trim around the fog light of my Mazda 3, they told me they do not sell trim/molding, I told them come on it s on the picture you have online of your Mazda 3 it s right there it takes around 2 minutes to remove i was even offering 75$ for it, they told me "Go look to you mom and pop operations, large auto recyclers like us don t want to sell you these kind of parts ..."



Right after i received that message I decided to go look around what else they sell... And hey what do you know, they sell fuel caps @ 5$ windshield wipers @ 5$, sun visors @ 1$...



I thought LARGE RECYCLERS don t sell small parts and trims...? I offered 75$ for the fog light trim... But i guess they rather make their money off 5$ fuel caps and 1$ sun visors...



In conclusion NOT A RECOMMENDED STORE!!! You will get better service and better parts else-where, trust me and trust the other reviews...





BTW This is not family owned because like the guy told me: "Go to your mom and pop operated busyness's..."

If they tell you your part is there to come pick it up it will be ready.. Hm DON'T COUNT ON IT! On top of the rude Un professional service they are not accurate at all with time and price. They don't care about your time. It's all about what easiest for them.

I called them and asked if I could pick my part up the next day and was told it would not be a problem. I was quoted a price. The following day when I went to pick up my part the price had gone up and they didn't have my part ready and was told I would have to come back the next day because they didn't have the manpower to pull it. I explained that I had driven over an hour to get there and really needed my vehicle. I asked if we could pull it ourselves and was told if I wanted to go see if I could find one I could look in the self serve yard but I couldn't go pull the one that they knew they had in the other yard. They were rude, disrespectful and couldn't care any less that I was quoted a lower price and was told my part would be ready when it wasn't. They definitely had no compassion for the amount of distance I had traveled to get there. The only thing they cared about was what was convenient for them. I will never deal with this company again and highly recommend that you don't either as you will be very disappointed in the service they give you. That is if it is convenient for them to provide you with a service. There are many more salvage yards in CT that are reliable. Unfortunately, they did not have the part I needed at the time. This is not my first bad experience with Chuck and Eddies but will be the last.

Not a shabby place. I've been a couple of times and they've got a ton (like, literally hundreds--maybe thousands) of cars ranging from Jeeps to Civics. You go out there and pick out your own stuff or you can have them get it for you (I recommend picking it yourself--much more fun and you save yourself some $$). The guys there tend to treat you like you're an idiot and are often condescending, but I cut them some slack; as I am sure they have to put up with some interesting folk on a daily basis. Do some homework before going, as going to any junkyard isn't like apple picking--you got to know exactly what you want, and have an idea of what you willing to pay. They'll more than likely be reasonable with you. I've gotten some fantastic deals from them and I plan on returning in the future. If you're looking for any kind of used part for your car no matter what it is I would recommend coming here before going on eBay, Craigslist or God forbid the stealership, they will more than likely have what you're looking for, and for a reasonable price.

I called Chuck & Eddie's to ask the sales person for a price for used left Cladding for my Honda Element (plastic panel on the rear quater panel). The sales man gave a quote of $375. When I asked him why the price quote is so high he stated that they need to pull the cladd out of the car. I stated that it took me less then 20 minutes to remove my damaged cladd and the the Honda dealer quoted me only $103.00 for a brand new cladd. He fell silent and was probably trying to come out with some king of an excuse. That's when I stated that his mark up was over 300% and I told the sales man that I lost total respect for Chuck & Eddie's because over this past summer I bought a rear window for my Nissan pick up at a fair price from them & this price quote was unreasonably marked up.



My suggestion for anyone that is trying buy any used part at any salvage yard is to first call the dealer and set that price as your bench mark so you don't get taken for a ride.
