Never return phone calls to get a quote. I live right around the corner from this business. I was told if not in the click then he will not do any work for you. I thought those days went out during high school.

The pond that Holk's Excavating dug for me in Sept.- Oct. 2007 has been leaking since the spring thaw of 2008. I have made numerous phone calls in an attempt to get Brad to come out and repair it, but he has neither returned any of my phone calls or come out to find out what was wrong. His initial reply to me was that "I never had this happen before". He then told me that the water was moisture from the winter freeze that was entering the overflow drain pipe through unglued connections in the pond bank. The water leaked from the pipe all summer long. The pond would fill a little with each rain, then promptly empty again. There obviously was something wrong with the installation of the pond itself, or the overflow drain (which is where the water seemed to be flowing from). I recently called him and left a voice mail informing him that the water stopped flowing from the overflow drain, but the pond level continued to drop, but again, got no response. The bank on the backside of the pond is damp, so water is leaking somewhere. I would be very hesitant about hiring this company. They do not stand by their work if something goes wrong.
