Cold, uncaring, no empathy. I saw him about my back, and he said I would be fine with physical therapy (no timeline given on when to expect improvement), and that if it came to surgery, it would be outpatient. Later, when I was crippled, dying and could only get out of the house at great risk and urgently needed help, his plan for surgery was so extensive it probably would have killed me. This was a big change from an outpatient procedure, yet there was no big change between my first and last MRI.
And he put up all these barriers to my getting the surgery, such as running around all over town seeing doctors, including a PSYCHOLOGIST who first needed to sort out my "issues" in regard to not being happy that my back was a wreck. Also, he just couldn't BELIVE that I wouldn't have someone living with me 24/7 for the next 6 months, so that had to be resolved before anything was done. Neither he nor his staff provided any help at all. I dropped him, urgently, and found a doctor who would help me. I wonder, was he driving me away because Medicare wouldn't pay him a million dollars for the surgery??
