Our animal shelter is a clean, loving, safe haven for injured an unwanted animals. On average 25 animals live at the shelter at any given time and approximately 250 animals are placed in loving, responsible homes every year. In addition to caring for cats and dogs, we have a horse named Pella and sometimes we have birds, ferrets, snakes and other creatures.

Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment, free of charge, to homeless animals, return them to glowing health and place them in a loving, forever home. This not-for-profit, 501(3)(c) state-licensed shelther has been in operation for 58 years and relies entirely on the kindness and generosity of donations to keep the animals warm, fed and receiving the medication that they need. Long-time caregivers, Ken and Bess Gray, run the farm and provide each animal with dedicated living space as well as the socialization they need as they await adoption into a caring adn responsible home.
