I won't be going back to this office. I received an offer in the mail for a free eye exam from this office. After spending nearly 2 hours in the office waiting for my appointment and meeting with the doctor, I was informed that if I didn't have insurance to cover the visit that I would have to pay $65 to have the prescription- unless I bought glasses from his office. (glasses are available much cheaper at other places.) The Dr. informed me that he knew when offering a free exam that there would be people that would want to take advantage and want to walk out the door without paying anything or buying glasses. I found it uncomfortable that he would offer something for free and then accuse me and other customers of taking advantage when we simply accepted what he offered. The $65 charge would be fine had the Dr. been upfront about his real offer, rather than presenting it as free. Local store selling glasses informed me that they receive many complaints about this doctor.
